Awarding and making visible: that is the question

This past November saw the #WomenStartUpAwards24, awards whose purpose is to promote, support and give visibility to entrepreneurial talent in Spain. Many women come together at this event, with many projects, ideas and a great deal of effort to demonstrate and showcase outstanding projects, outstanding initiatives, outstanding founders. TO ALL OF THEM, CONGRATULATIONS. 👏👏🎉

This year, our Strategy Director and co-founder Mercedes Iborra was nominated alongside other remarkable founders such as Eva García Ramos, PDG and Amaia Rodríguez Sola in the ScaleUp category, which recognises projects in a growth phase that are transforming their sector. And transforming a sector is something we know a good deal about at VisualNACert.

Nerves, excitement and… joy! Mercedes did receive the award, and after the initial euphoria she offered a reflection we want to share.

This award should serve to give visibility to the effort being made towards the digital transformation of agriculture. The agriculture that feeds the world.
